What It Does

DealerCenter's platform covers the full lifecycle of an independent dealership's operations. The core DMS module handles desking and deal management, finance and insurance calculation, wholesale, cash, retail, and BHPH transaction types, contracts and forms (laser and Okidata), service contract company integrations, vehicle registration and titling, credit bureau and compliance services, and payment processing. Integrated accounting connects directly to QuickBooks.

The inventory module includes an auction run list for sourcing, automatic VIN decoding, vehicle booking services (J.D. Power, KBB, Black Book, Manheim MMR, MAX Digital), vehicle history reports through AutoCheck, reconditioning management through Carketa, and inventory import and distribution. The Vehicle Intelligence Agent — a newer AI feature — generates AI-powered vehicle descriptions and enhanced photos automatically.

The CRM suite integrates lead capture from third-party listing sites, duplicate lead detection and management, custom sales rep lead assignment, email and SMS integration, click-to-call with recording, an integrated messaging center with instant chat, video calling, and Facebook Messenger, real-time showroom and lot activity tracking, customer check-in workflow, campaign management, and a full reporting and analytics dashboard. The modular pricing works well for dealers who want to start with DMS and add capabilities over time.

Bad fit: Franchise new-car dealers who need OEM reporting and warranty processing. Large multi-store groups (5+ rooftops) who need enterprise-grade consolidated reporting.
